A funeral for Larry Dyson Wright, 65, a seven-year Minden resident, will be 1 p.m. today at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, 1478 Fourth Street, Minden.
Mr. Wright died April 4, 2007, in Minden. He was born Oct. 5, 1941, in Sylacauga, Ala., to Basil and Q.T. Wright.
He married Lynn Wright on Oct. 13, 1967, in New Orleans.
Before moving to Minden, Mr. Wright lived in Fremont, Calif.
He held a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Lamar Tech, and was a self-employed computer programmer.
He was preceded in death by his father on Nov. 1, 2001, in Longview, Texas, and brother Terry Wright on June 6, 1967, in Longview.
Among his survivors are his mother; wife, of Minden; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Dena Wright of Minden; daughter and son-in-law Leah and Alex Gregory of Pleasanton, Calif.; sister Coty Wright; two grandchildren, with one on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
