Carson JV baseball is swept

Carson lost both ends of a doubleheader to Reno, losing the opener 9-3 and the nightcap 17-8. In the opener, Dustin Buttner was 1-for-3 with two RBI, Tom Preston was 1-for-3 with an RBI and Blake Davidson and Collin Grischott each added a hit. David Charles struck out six and walked one over five innings and David Perce struck out three over two innings.

In the nightcap, Preston had three doubles and three RBI, Mason Bondi was 2-for-4 with two RBI, Cody Barr had a hit and two RBI, Davidson was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Tom Purcell and Perce each added a hit for Carson (11-7, 5-4).
