CHS JVS SWEPT

The Carson junior varsity softball team sustain two tough losses, losing the opener 6-2 and the nightcap 2-1, allowing Reno to take two-of-three in the series.

Carson (6-2-1 in league) took a 1-0 lead into the seventh when Reno scored twice. Jessie Sinclair was the tough luck loser in her complete game effort. Belen Munoz tripled and Tami Conn also played well defensively.

In the opener, Melissa Coyle pitched five innings and Jaime Good struck out two over two innings. Munoz hit an inside-the-park two-run home run and also played well defensively.
