A celebration of life for Thomas V. Deskin, 65, a 34-year Carson City resident, will be 3:30 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Deskin died April 6, 2007, in Carson City. He was born March 28, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Thomas and Gertrude Deskin.
He married Kay Deskin in 1974, in Carson City.
He graduated from Long Beach State University, and was a teacher at Carson Middle School. He was a real estate agent since 1976.
He enjoyed bass fishing and his dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; daughter Michelle Deskin of Carson City; sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Bill Senn of New Jersey; granddaughter Ashleigh Deskin and several extended-family members.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
