Wanda E. Kendle, 79, a Carson City resident since 2002, died April 10, 2007, in Carson City.

Mrs. Kendle was born March 23, 1928, in Idaho, to Martin Leroy Jensen and Olive Vera Clark.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Kendle lived in Hemet, Calif.

She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lone Mountain Ward in Carson City.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and playing the organ.

Among her survivors are sons Don J. Larsen of South Lake Tahoe and Winston J. Larsen of Los Angeles; daughters and sons-in-law Patty J. and Jim Scranton of Newport Beach, Calif., Darlene and Gerry Slater of Los Angeles and Meladee and Doug Johnson of Hemet; one brother; two sisters; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
