Visitation for Clifton Elroy Odermann, 78, a one-year Carson City resident, will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Autumn Funerals and Cremations with a funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Odermann was born Jan. 2, 1929, to Earl and Gladys Odermann in Grand Prairie, N.D.
He married Carmen Lugo on June 4, 1950, in Las Vegas.
He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1948 and served during the Korean War.
Mr. Odermann farmed small grains in North Dakota for 46 years before moving to Fontana, Calif., settling in Carson City in 2006. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Odermann is survived by his wife; sons and daughters-in-law Spencer and Doris Odermann, of Carson City, and Clifton and Faye Odermann Jr., of Valley City, N.D.; sister Evelyn Winter of Camus, Wash.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Green Acers Memorial Park, in Bloomington, Calif.
