The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Donald Lee Newbury, 36, a transient, was arrested at 7:35 a.m. Thursday at the Lyon and Carson county line on a felony parole violation and suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. No bail was set.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Coroner call for a cancer patient at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center infirmary at 7:02 a.m.


• A man reported hearing his elderly neighbor yelling for help in the 400 block of Somerset Drive at 8:46 a.m. When police arrived, they found the elderly gentlemen had fallen down in his garage. He told officers he'd been in that position for a day and a half.


• Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway at 10:07 a.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 1800 block of Pyrenees Street at 4:28 p.m.


• A brother reported his 17-year-old sister missing from West Nye Lane at 7:40 p.m. He said he last saw her on Aug. 8 and her gas card was last used Tuesday at a filling station in Texas.


• A bicycle was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Salmon Drive at 7:45 p.m.


• A vehicle caused a fire in Brunswick Canyon at 8:44 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Misdemeanor arrest on Newlands Drive in Fernley at 3:26 a.m.


• A man reported a woman hit him and threw hot coffee on him at 7:09 a.m. on Monico Drive in Mark Twain.


• Felony arrest on North Willhoyt Lane in Mason Valley at 1:59 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Lakeview Drive in Dayton at 7:54 p.m.
