Kerri Oxoby attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned her degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. During her years at UNR she participated in many campus activities. She was an active member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Kerri also volunteered time to the Rape Crisis Center in Reno.

Each year a fundraiser is held to raise money for two scholarships that are given each spring to two local Carson High seniors. The first scholarships were given in May of 2001. The scholarships were originally valued at $1,000 each. In the spring of 2006 friends and family were able to raise enough money to award two $2,500 scholarships. The CHS Scholarship Committee chooses the scholarship recipients.

If you would like to help raise money for this continuing scholarship program in honor of Kerri, come join family and friends at the annual golf tournament.
