Dorothea E. Ennis, 84, a six-year Carson City resident, died Aug. 23, 2007, in Carson City.
Miss Ennis was born Sept. 27, 1922, to Edward and Lauretta Ennis in Los Angeles.
She lived at Lake Tahoe for several years.
She managed James Lake Shore Resort in Tahoe Vista. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother Leonard and her caregiver Dorothy Mercer.
Among her survivors are numerous cousins who considered her as an aunt.
Cremation will be in Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
