Sheriff's log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 20-year-old unemployed Reno man was arrested at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $337 cash.

• A 42-year-old machinist from Carson City was arrested at 3:43 p.m. Wednesday at College Parkway and Nye Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $207 cash.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Fraud report on Palo Verde Drive at 10:05 a.m.

• Report of an employee taking money from a business in the 2000 block of Highway 50 East at 10:49 a.m.

• A domestic dispute reported at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 11:55 a.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Report of a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of Aspen Way in Fernley at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday.

• Report of a subject allegedly writing fraudulent checks in the 800 block of West Main Street in Fernley at 4:37 p.m. A felony arrest was made.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• An arrest for harassment or stalking on Ave De La Bleu De Clair at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday.

• Traffic stops on State Route 341, Sutro Springs Road, USA Parkway, Saddleback Road, Canyon Way and Waltham Way.
