Officials report that Highway 395 near Garnerville is beginning to ice up.
Douglas County dispatchers are reporting a noninjury traffic accident south of Airport Road in the northbound lanes of Highway 395.
Scanner reports say the vehicle is in a ditch that is filled with water, but that all occupants are out and walking around.
Motorists should slow down and avoid unnecessary distractions such as talking on cell phones or eating while driving, according to NHP troopers.
The Nevada Highway Patrol recommends drivers stay home if they can.
