James Emerson Avitt

James Emerson Avitt a Carson City resident since 1980. Mr. Avitt died December 11, 2007. He was born in St. Joseph, MO. Married to Peggy Jo Marin in Virginia City , Nev. March 19, 1992. Prior to moving to Carson City James lived in Stockton, Calif. He worked in food service after retiring from the Navy in 1973. During his naval career is served on six submarines. Among his survivors are his wife Peggy Jo, two sons, Mark of Dallas, Texas & Mike of Mt. Ayr, Iowa & one grandson Sean of Texas. Private cremation will be held. No Service. Arrangements are being handled by Waltons Funeral Home of Carson City, Nevada.
