Peter G. Dubiskas passed away on Tuesday, December 11 at Carson-Tahoe

Hospital after a short illness.

Pete was born February 11, 1964 in Hartford, Connecticut to Richard and

Victoria Dubiskas and lived in Wisconsin and New Mexico before coming to Carson City in 1985.

An accomplished welder, Pete worked at several area shops, including American Buildings, Tower Structures and most recently, Wallace Steel. Pete had a passion for airplanes and flying. A high point of his year was always attending the National Championship Air Races. Pete also enjoyed NASCAR, the Military Channel and spending time with friends at the Pinion Plaza/Gold Dust West. Generous to a fault, Pete's place was a refuge. He was known for taking in the homeless and feeding the poor among his friends.

Survivors include his sister, Joan Hall, of Gardnerville, brothers Randy of

Oklahoma City, Patrick of Silver City, N.M , Jack and Mark, both of

Deming, N.M., nephews Loren of Gardnerville, Dennis of Carson City,

Sean of Silver City, N.M., nieces Grace and Rose of Oklahoma City, and

many friends.

A memorial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Dan

Johnson's house, 7 Milliman Way in Carson City. Waltons Funeral Home will be in charge of his remains.
