The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Amber Fultz, 22, a collection agent from Carson City, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. at Anderson and William streets on suspicion of a warrant charging her with felony obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $20,000. Also arrested was her husband Mazzerick Nelson, 23, a painter from Carson City, on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice warrant from South Lake Tahoe. Bail was set at $25,000.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Domestic battery report on South Carson Street at 3:10 a.m.


• A bus driver reported he saw a hand hanging out of a trunk on Arrowhead Drive at 7:19 a.m. Police arrived and found a 53-year-old man locked inside the trunk. The man claimed he'd been kidnapped, but it appears, after further investigation, that he crawled in the trunk to sleep, and got locked inside, according to an official.


• A student was arrested at Carson Middle School at 10:36 a.m.


• Vehicle burglary report at 2:56 p.m. at Carson High School.


• Coroner call at Northern Nevada Correctional Center at 4:44 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Arrest on Miller Lane in Mason Valley at 12:59 a.m.


• Arrest on Highway 208 in Mason Valley at 2:30 a.m.


• Coroner call on Season Drive in Fernley at 5:41 p.m.
