Larnard T. "Bud" Case born to Tom and Anna Case on June 21, 1915 in Modesto, Ca. passed away at his home in Carson City Dec. 25, 2007.

When Bud was young he played in the World Series Softball game in Chicago, Ill. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Bud married Lorraine Defosset on March 21, 1937 in Reno, Nv. In 1964 they moved from Modesto to Lake Tahoe where he worked as a security guard at Harrah's Casino until his retirement in 1980. He and Lorraine then moved to Carson City where they currently reside.

Bud is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lorraine, son Loren Case (Esther), three daughters, Lorette Myers (Bill), Lorene Wilkinson (Gene) and Lorelle Chorkey. Also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Bud will be Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at 2PM at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice in honor of Bud Case.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with final arrangements.
