The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 6:47 a.m. the following road conditions in Northern Nevada:
SR 431 " Chains or snow tires required for 6.1 miles between SR 28 and 11.9 miles south of US Highway 395.
Today's weather will be mostly cloudy and brisk with isolated snow showers in the morning then scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Highs will be from 25-35 with west winds 10-20 mph shifting to the north in the afternoon with gusts up to 35 mph.
