Western Nevada Supply's new kitchen and bath showroom opens today at 8 a.m. featuring portable saunas and working tubs.

Elizabeth Robinson, showroom manager for the Carson City store, said Thursday that the 1,600-square-foot showroom will show contractors and home owners various faucet lines, sinks and toilets for low and high-end budgets.

Western Nevada Supply, 5445 S. Carson St., opened in October, but because of the complexity of installing the design stations and displays, it took until this month to complete the showroom.

Robinson said the showroom contains a wide range of fixtures, including faucets, sinks, towel warmers, therapeutic tub systems, steam showers, dry sauna units, and custom shower designing. Designed with home builders and remodelers in mind, the showroom will provide customers the opportunity to create a unified look throughout their homes, she said.

The Carson City bypass will connect with South Carson Street at the base of Spooner Summit next to the new supply store.

The $2 million building is located at Frontage Road and Clear Creek Avenue, off South Carson Street, and is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
