The Carson Tigersharks Swim Club had numerous top finishes at the Red Hot Valentine Sprint Meet held this past weekend at the Carson Valley Aquatic Center.
Among Carson's top swimmers was Tim Grunert in 11-12 boys, who won seven events and took second in two others. He won the 200-yard freestyle, 50 free, 50 breaststroke, 100 free, 100 breaststroke, 50 backstroke and 25 free and took second in the 200 and 100 individual medleys.
Other top swimmers for Carson were: Mikel Flatly, 6 and under girls - 100 I.M., first; 25 butterfly, first; 25 back, second; 25 breaststroke, second; 25 free, second.
Six and under boys: River Flatly, 25 back, first; 50 back, first; 25 free, fourth. Nick Fischer - 100 free, first; 25 free, first; 50 back, third.
15 and older girls: Julie Asire - 200 free, first; 25 free, first; 100 free, second; 500 free, third. Barbara Perkins - 500 free, first; 200 I.M., first.
