Alton Raymond Gragg, 81, a Carson City resident since 1981, died Feb. 20, 2007, in Carson City.

Mr. Gragg was born Nov. 30, 1925, in Williamsburg, Kan., to Robert and Edna Brooks Wilson Gragg.

Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Gragg lived in Stockton, Calif.

He was a machinist, retiring from Tracy Defense Depot in 1981.

He was a Mason and belonged to the San Joaquin Lodge No. 19 in Stockton. He enjoyed bowling, fixing things and working on motors.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Among his survivors are his wife, Marceline Gragg, of Carson City; daughter Sandy Gragg of Stockton; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Floyd Wathan of Stockton; brother Everett Gragg of Kansas; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
