Construction on Carson City streets for the week beginning Feb. 26:
• Due to the construction of the new Sheriff's Administration Building, Harbin Avenue is closed to traffic between Musser and Second streets. This closure will remain in effect through September.
• Curry Street will be closed between Clearview Drive and Koontz Lane for street reconstruction and installation of utilities.
• Southwest Gas will be replacing a natural gas pipeline at Fairview and Edmonds drives and heading west to Saliman Road and north on Saliman to Fifth Street. The work is part of the utility relocation associated with the Carson City Freeway. The project is expected to take several months. Steps will be taken to minimize the affect on the public.
