Weather permitting, the Western Nevada Community College baseball team is scheduled to return home for a key Scenic West Athletic Conference series against College of Southern Idaho.

The two teams are scheduled to play doubleheaders beginning at noon on Friday and Saturday at John L. Harvey Field.

WNCC (7-10) comes into the game at 1-3 in the Scenic West after dropping three of four games last weekend at Community College of Southern Nevada. Southern Idaho is 2-2 in conference after splitting a four-game series at home against Salt Lake City Community College.

The Wildcats are also ranked No. 24 in the nation in the first poll of the season. The poll came out last Friday before the series against CCSN. The next poll will come out at the end of March.

In addition, WNCC is in need of a public address announcer for the rest of the season, beginning with this weekend's series. WNCC will have a total of five weekend home series over the rest of the season, with games on Fridays and Saturdays. Anyone interested should call WNCC coach D.J. Whittemore, 772-9443.
