Betty Jane Blankenship, 78, a 15-year Carson City resident, died Feb. 21, 2007, at her home.
Mrs. Blankenship was born March 1, 1929, in Stillwater, Okla., to Bill Duncan and Lily Harvey.
She married Elvin Wade Blankenship on July 9, 1966.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Blankenship lived in Fontana, Calif.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughters Donna Herrod of Woodbridge, Va., and Linda Herrod of Minden; stepsons Ed Blankenship of Tulsa, Okla., and Wylie Blankenship of Phoenix; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
