Sallee Irene Calico, 75, a Stagecoach resident, died Jan. 4, 2007, at her home.
Mrs. Calico was born Aug. 28, 1931, in Nampa, Calif., to David G. Sturges and Valda L. Sharp Sturges.
She graduated from Tamalpais High School.
She married Mac Calico on Feb. 18, 1955, in Reno.
Before moving to Stagecoach, Mrs. Calico lived in Reno.
She was a member of the Rose Chapter No. 13, Order of the Eastern Star, and past Matron and the Daughters of the Nile in Reno.
She enjoyed needlepoint, canning and gardening.
Among her survivors are her husband of Stagecoach; daughter Lois LaShell of Edmonds, Wash.; sister, Lois Mae Willis of Dayton; granddaughter Carrie LaShell; nine nieces, seven nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
