A memorial service for Richard "Dough Boy" Spuehler, 20, a lifelong Carson City resident, will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, 326 E. John St.

Mr. Spuehler died Jan. 17, 2007, in Carson City. He was born Dec. 26, 1986, in Carson City to John C. Spuehler and Johnnie Brodie.

He was a student and enjoyed dancing, rap music, helping friends and making people laugh. He was making a rap demo.

He was a member of First Christian Church where he participated in the youth group.

He was preceded in death by brother Josh Spuehler in 2001; grandmother Geneva Mae Harrington in 1981 and grandfather Charles Spuehler in 1989.

Among his survivors are his father, of Gardnerville; mother and her husband, John, of Reno; grandfather Ray Harrington of Paradise, Calif.; grandmother Angelica Spuehler of Auburn, Calif.; sister Natasha Spuehler of Gardnerville; brothers Andrew and Robert Spuehler, both of Carson City, and John Michael Spuehler of Gardnerville; and numerous cousins.

Burial will be at Walton's Carson Garden Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
