In the battle for first place in the Sierra League, Carson lost a heartbreaker as it couldn't hold on after holding a five-point lead after three quarters. Emily Field scored 10 points, Belen Munoz had eight points, Tiffany O'Day had seven points and Loretta Cagle and Tiandra Hudson each added five rebounds for Carson (19-5, 6-1).
