Infant found after Amber Alert issued

Reno police early this morning found an 8-month-old girl allegedly taken from her grandparents' home in Sun Valley.

An Amber Alert was issued at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday for 8-month-old Adriana L. Brooks.

According to police, the infant's parents allegedly forced entry into the home of the custodial grandparents at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, the baby was taken by force and may have been injured.

Suspects are Philip Wayne Brooks, 33, white male, 6 foot 5 inches, 250 pounds with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, and has many tattoos on both arms.

Also sought is Paula J. Brooks, 29, white female, 5 feet 6 inches, 220 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a green flannel shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes. She has long hair and wears glasses.

Police say they were found in north Reno in a teal-colored Acura Integra with Nevada handicapped license plate 79157.

Adriana is described as having brown hair and hazel eyes.
