Court wrap: Drunken driver sent to prison

The following people appeared in Carson City District Court before Judge Bill Maddox on Tuesday:

• Marco Antonio Rivera, 37, was sentenced to 12 to 30 months in prison with credit for 46 days served in jail on a charge of third-offense drunken driving. He must also pay a $2,000 fine.

• Bradley Owen Emmans, 21, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced March 20.

• Rechie Takeo Kitoaka, 51, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced March 20.

• Williams James Ledford Jr. was given three years of probation with a suspended sentence of 12 to 32 months in jail on a charge of attempted home invasion.

• Anthony Alejo Lopez, 19, must pay $2,311 in restitution to the victim of an attempted battery.

• Ruth Woslum, 36, was given 18 months of probation with a suspended sentence of six months in jail on a charge on a assault on a peace officer.

• Steven Joseph Xavier, 21, was given three years' probation with a suspended sentence of 12 months in jail on a charge of attempted theft.

• Tracie Leanne Zegers, 30, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Sentencing is March 20.

• Joshua Thomas Phillips, 31, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced March 20.
