The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Curtis Lee Walker, 26, unemployed, of Oakland, Calif., was booked into the Carson City Jail at 10:52 p.m. on a Carson City warrant for escape. No bail was set.


• Aurora Dawn Ross-Mueller, 19, a retail clerk, was arrested in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of being an Army deserter. She was allegedly last seen at her duty station in Ft. Lee, Va., at 8 p.m. on March 13 and desertion paperwork was filed against her on March 16. Ross-Mueller's job was as a supply clerk. She is being held without bail.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Two windows of the new sheriff's department building at Musser and Harbin streets were broken overnight.


• A woman reported at 9 a.m. she left a box with jewelry in a motel room on South Carson Street and when she went back to get it, it was missing.


• A checkbook and other items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of North Edmonds Drive sometime before 2:32 p.m.


• A report of a truck striking a fire hydrant at Goni Road and Conestoga Drive at 2:51 p.m.


• Accident at West Winnie Lane and Russett Way at 3:21 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 3:48 p.m.


• Accident at Butti Way and East Fifth Street at 4:07 p.m.


• A laptop was reported stolen from the 2900 block of Oxbow Drive sometime before 5:17 p.m.


• A caller reported at 7:13 p.m. someone left a bicycle in his garage and he wanted it removed.


• Report of a purse being stolen from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Highway 50 East at 8:10 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Felony warrant arrest on Farm District Road in Fernley at 3:17 a.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 2800 block of Tonopah Street in Silver Springs at 11:08 a.m.


• Brush fire report on Rose Peak Drive at 2:52 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Lane Avenue in Silver Springs at 6:55 p.m.


• Felony arrest on Goldfield Avenue in Yerington at 7:30 p.m.


• Accident on Interstate 80 in Fernley at 10:59 p.m.


Storey County


The following were arrested between July 2 and July 8:


• A 31-year-old Hazen man was arrested in the American Flats area on Saturday on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.


• A 57-year-old Virginia City man was arrested Friday in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery.


• A 46-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested July 4 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.


• A 31-year-old Washoe Valley man was arrested in Gold Hill on July 4 on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.


• A 39-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on July 4 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.


• A 33-year-old Gold Hill man was arrested July 4 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.


• A 24-year-old Sun Valley man was arrested on July 4 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor disturbing the peace.


• A 44-year-old Stagecoach man was arrested on July 4 in Virginia City on suspicion of misdemeanor disturbing the peace.
