Dorothy E. Little

Graveside services for Dorothy E. Little, 85, a 35-year Gardnerville resident, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

Mrs. Little died July 12, 2007, in Gardnerville. She was born May 16, 1922, to Hans Prager and Alice Markstein in Innsbruck, Austria. She married Edward L. Little on July 10, 1945, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Prior to moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Little lived in Big Pine, Calif. She was educated in public schools in Vienna and Salzburg. She trained as a dancer at Viennese State Opera, and was recognized as an accomplished pianist. She was a mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband in June 1996 in Reno.

Among her survivors are her sons Edward R. Little of Reno and Ronald J. Little of Pollock Pines, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
