Mildred 'Millie' Frobes

A celebration of life for Mildred "Millie" Frobes, 86, will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Autumn Funerals and Cremations in Carson City.

Mrs. Frobes died July 13, 2007. She was born June 15, 1921, in Chicago to Ralph and Sally Nagel. She lived throughout the United States, and settled in Houston prior to moving to Carson City.

She attended schools in Chicago.

Mrs. Frobes married Hugo "Butch" Frobes on Dec. 18, 1943, in Chicago.

She worked in banking and retail sales, and was a past owner of a bar and lounge.

She had attended the Carson City Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed bingo and swimming.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and son Larry Lemkow.

Among her survivors are her sons Jerry Lemkow and Jack Frobes, both of Stagecoach; daughter, Hope Lynne Frobes-Moore of Carson City; brother, Paul Nagel of San Diego; sister, June Diamond of Houston; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Autumn Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
