Visitation for Suzette Dietel, 75, a Carson City area resident for 60 years will be 4 and 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Walton's Sierra Chapel in Reno. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's. A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Albert's Church, 1250 Wyoming St., Reno.

Mrs. Dietel died July 18, 2007, in Reno. She was born May 4, 1932, to Wesley and Gladys Staples in Oakland, Calif.

She married Wallace Dietel in Reno in 1953.

She attended Reno High School and the University of Nevada, Reno. She worked in real estate for 30 years. She opened Suzette Dietel Dance Studio, the first dance studio in Reno, and was a professional ice skater. She belonged to the Proscenium Players and Reno Little Theater.

She enjoyed dance choreography, the arts and people.

She was preceded in death by daughter SherryAnn and son Douglas Lee.

Among her survivors are her husband of 54 years, of Reno; daughter and son-in-law Suzette and Alain Gregoire of Sparks; brothers Buddy and Dean Staples of Reno; sister Nannette Moffett of Carson City; and one grandchild.

Walton's Sierra Chapel in Reno is in charge of the arrangements.
