A memorial service for Bryan Charles Malone, 48, a Blairsville, Ga., and former Carson City resident, will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Yorba Linda, Calif., with the Rev. P.D. James officiating.
Mr. Malone died May 29, 2007, in Emory Hospital. He was born April 25, 1959, in Anaheim, Calif., to Wes and Dixie Meyers Malone.
Mr. Malone was a member of Promise Keepers, The Men's Group, worked in youth ministries for many years and also worked at missions in Los Angeles. He was a member of the Blairsville Church of the Nazarene.
Among his survivors are wife, Laurie Mossholder Malone, of Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law Rochelle and Matthew Kronenberg of Gardnerville; mother of Brea, Calif.; father of Carson City; sisters and brothers-in-law Tracey and Pat Milsop of Salton Sea, Calif., and Linda and Bill Gile of Whittier, Calif.; stepbrothers Kelly, Jeff and Steven O'Brien, granddaughter Faith Nicole Kronenberg and many extended-family members.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroad Nazarene Church, Gardnerville, c/o Missions Working Witness.
Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of arrangements.
