A memorial service for David James Reid, 41, a longtime Carson City resident, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Reid died May 30, 2007, in Carson City.
He was born Dec. 14, 1965, in San Jose, Calif., to Ronald Anton and Sharon Reid.
He was a well driller.
He enjoyed fishing and camping and loved his children.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Among his survivors are his sons Cory, Cody, Kyle and Wesley Reid; father and his wife Ronald and Irene of Henderson; sister Diane Cunningham of Carson City; brother and sister-in-law Ron and Lisa Reid of Stagecoach and several extended-family members.
Cremation took place in Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
