Marion 'Babchi' Olinsky

A rosary for Marion "Babchi" Olinsky, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 17 years, will be said 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with a funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Olinsky died June 3, 2007, in Carson City. She was born Jan. 17, 1916, in Union City, Conn., to Walter and Helen Siwanowicz.

She married Edward Olinsky. He preceded her in death in 1984.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Grapevine, Texas.

Mrs. Olinsky was a Catholic and a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community.

Among her survivors are daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and Harold Allen of Carson City and Marion and James Scharf of Sebastion, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law Edward and Mona Kay Olinsky of Flowermound, Texas; sister Jane Bariluk of Seymour, Calif.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many extended family members.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
