Mary Kathryn Cox and Kevin C. Johnson were married May 26 at Silver Oak Golf Course in Carson City with the Rev. Lary Rothchild officiating.

Celeste Brown was the matron of honor; Jackie Florence and Nicole Crossman were the bridesmaids.

Larry Wood served as best man; Jose Rodriguez and Bobby Silvestri were the groomsmen. Dylan Marie Silvestri was the flower girl.

The bride was presented in marriage by "Uncle" Rex Wood.

Kathy is the daughter of the late Gerry and Ann Wood. She is a graduate of Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, Mich., and attended Western Nevada Community College. Kathy is a computer technician for the State of Nevada (DOIT) in Carson City.

Kevin is the son of Robert and Michele Johnson of Spokane Valley, Wash. He is a graduate of Central Valley High School in Spokane and attended Eastern Washington University. Kevin is a correctional officer for the State of Nevada.

The couple celebrated with 85 family members and guests at a reception held in their honor at Silver Oak Golf Course. After a honeymoon to Los Cabos, Mexico, Kathy and Kevin have made their home in Carson City.
