The Nevada Bighorns gave the Reno Astros all they could handle for a second straight time, but fell just short in a 6-4 loss on Wedneday at Moana Stadium.

The Bighorns were able to bang out 11 hits, but could only cash in for four runs. Last week, the Bighorns lost to the Astros 7-5.

Aaron Henry went 3-for-5, Adam Anderson was 2-for-2 with an RBI, Dan Eastham had a hit and an RBI, Greg Pellici had a hit and two RBI and Tyson Jaquez, Jeff Young, Nick Nyman and Sean Costella all added a hit for the Bighorns.

The Bighorns will next be in action in a doubleheader on Saturday at Moana Stadium. The Bighorns will play the Astros at 5:30 p.m. and then will play the NorCal Yankees at 7:30 p.m.

The Astros will play the Yankees at 3 p.m. The Bighorns will then play the Yankees at noon Sunday at Ron McNutt Field.
