Margaret Selbig, 84, a Carson City resident for the past three weeks, died June 9, 2007, in Carson City. She was born July 1, 1922, in Waterloo, Iowa, to John Vernon and Anita Gilbert Raines.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Pacific Grove, Calif.
She married Jack B. Selbig on Nov. 24, 1989, in Reno.
She was a high school graduate.
Mrs. Selbig was a secretary at Monterey High School.
She served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Bill and Joanne Hoblit of Worcester, Vt.; daughters and sons-in-law Kay and William Bunch of Carson City and Cora and Bill Towe of Hawthorne.
No services will be held, according to her wishes. Her ashes will be scattered at sea in Pacific Grove.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
