Vacation Bible School

First Presbyterian Church will hold "Son Safari," vacation Bible school June 18-22 in the Family Life Center of the church, 300 block of West Musser Street.

Children ages 4-5 attend from 6-7:30 p.m.; children in grades 1 through 6 attend from 6-8:30 p.m.

Registration fee is $10 per child ($20 maximum), and scholarships are available.

Children will visit "Cat Canyon," "Gorilla Woodlands," "Meerkat Mesa," "Hippo Beach" and the "Hidden Grassland." They will also have fun with "Elephant Stomp Games," sing at the "Watering Hole" and make snacks at "Safari Snack Shack."

The mission project of vacation Bible school is "Food for Thought," helping fill the pantry for homeless kids in Carson City.

The Church on North Carson Street will hold Vacation Bible School from 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 25-29.

Located at 1927 N. Carson St. in the Frontier Plaza, the theme of Vacation Bible School is "The Incredible Race." It is available to children ages 4-12 and parents or guardians my register their children online, at www.carsonchurch.com.

Corpus Christi Catholic Community

Corpus Christi Catholic Community, 5335 Snyder Ave. will hold "Kids for Jesus" Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to noon June 25-29.

Vacation Bible school is for ages kindergarten to fourth-grade. Cost is $35 for one child; $70 for two children, $100 for three children and $25 for each additional child for families with four or more children.

"Make a Splash with Jesus" Vacation Bible School is from 6:15-8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 18-22.

Calvary Baptist Church of Dayton is preparing to host a Vacation Bible School from Monday through Friday. The sessions will be from 9 a.m.-noon. Children between the ages of 4-12 are invited to come for a time of Bible lessons, music, crafts and outdoor fun.
