Students from Virginia City and Silver City learned teamwork and leadership skills at a Project Discovery Leadership Challenge program in Southwest Reno on Wednesday.

The program was sponsored by Community Chest Inc., an nonprofit social-service agency headquartered in Virginia City.

The students participated in a Challenge course, where they moved through the trees on ropes, relying on each other to get them through safely.

Project Discovery Inc. offers challenge courses and leadership programs to school and youth groups, corporate groups and others to enhance the capacity for teamwork and leadership skills.
