A memorial service for Lloyd L. Carriere, 56, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mountain View Mortuary in Reno.
Mr. Carriere died June 26, 2007, at the Veterans Hospital in Reno. He was born Oct. 12, 1950, and graduated from Yerington High School.
He joined the Army Special Forces and served in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Bernice Carriere and his wife, Charla.
Among his survivors are his sister Donna Santos; nephew Laure'l Santos; niece Mary Santos; fiancée Karen Baldwin, and great nieces and nephews.
Mountain View Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
