A graveside service for Ralph F. Daugherty, 90, a Minden resident for the past 18 years, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, Calif.
A private family viewing will be at Walton's.
Mr. Daugherty died June 25, 2007, in Gardnerville. Hne was born April 22, 1917, in Reno, to Raymond and Pauline Daugherty.
Before moving to Minden, he lived in San Jose for more than 60 years.
Mr. Daugherty retired from Painters Local 507 in 1982, after almost 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine.
Among his survivors are son Pat of Fremont, Calif.; daughter Polly Mears of San Jose; sister Lorraine Johnson of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
