Linda Louise Heiser-Ewalt, 62, a 30-year Gardnerville resident, died June 22, 2007, at her home. She was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Dickonson, N.D., to Conrad and Cathrine Heiser.
Before moving to Gardnerville she lived in Beilfield, N.D.
Mrs. Heiser-Ewalt was a casino pit boss, floor supervisor and a 21 dealer.
She was preceded in death by Catherine Heiser, Conrad Heiser, William "Billy" Heiser, and Fred Heiser.
Among her survivors are daughter Sherri Ewalt-Jones, grandchildren Michael R. Wentz, Kyle T. Wentz, Brian N.A. Kerr, and Sarah F. Jones; one great-grandchild; brothers Don Heiser and Larry Heiser and many extended family members.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
Cremation was at Walton's Sierra Crematory June 28.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Hospice of Northern Nevada.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
