(News Service and Staff Reports) - Michael Hohl has bought out the Carson Valley Chevrolet stores in both Minden and Carson City.
The two dealerships will be managed by Michael Hohl Jr. once the transfer is complete. He said they would be able to discuss plans for the business next week.
The Douglas County Clerk's Office listed the transaction Feb. 21.
Carson Valley Chevrolet purchased the former C.O.D. Garage from the Hellwinkel family in 2003. Robb Hellwinkel confirmed the purchase this week saying he will be leasing the property at 1601 Highway 395 in Minden, currently Carson Valley Chevrolet/Buick.
Hohl Motor Co. already owns Hohl Buick/GMC/Cadillac on South Carson Street, the Honda/Subaru dealership on North Carson Street and the Hohl RV Centers in Reno and Carson City.
