A memorial Mass for Kathryn "Kay" Spaelti, 91, a 12-year Minden resident, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville. A reception will follow at the church.
Mrs. Spaelti died March 1, 2007, in Gardnerville. She was born Sept. 23, 1915, in Preston, Minn.
She married Walter J. Spaelti in San Francisco, Calif.
She was a telephone operator and enjoyed taking care of her children.
She was a longtime member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in San Francisco.
She was preceded in death by her son Stephen Spaelti.
Among her survivors are her husband of 63 years, of Minden; daughters and sons-in-law Eileen and John Brooks and Laurel and Gilbert Midura-O'Brien; son and daughter-in-law James and Natalie Spaelti; one sister and one brother; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
