Francis "Frank" L. Crossley, 77, a one-month Sun City, Calif., and 32-year Carson City resident, died Feb. 28, 2007, in Sun City.
Mr. Crossley was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Ohio.
He married Bernice Crossley on Oct. 5, 1968, in Radcliffe, Ky.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1947-69. He served one tour in the Korean War and two tours in the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed fishing and traveling with his wife in their motor home.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years on Jan. 17, 2006.
Among his survivors are his stepchildren Jim Butler of Austin, Texas, Debbie Hunt of Scotts Valley, Calif., and Tom Butler of Menifee, Calif.; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A private ceremony will be held in Carson City at a later date.
California Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
