A graveside service for Marjorie N. Strang, 93, a Carson City resident since 1983, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Mrs. Strang died March 14, 2007, in Carson City. She was born May 19, 1913, in Oakland, Calif., to Charles Nichols and Ethel Lee.

She married Mark Jerome Strang on Nov. 11, 1933, in Oakland, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Strang lived in Woodland Hills, Calif., for 54 years.

She was a homemaker.

She belonged to the Eastern Star in Juneau, Alaska, and the Carson City First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984.

Among her survivors are daughters and sons-in-law Cynthia and Robert Conti and Carol and Vernon Manke, all of Carson City; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
