A rosary for Eleanor Supera, 87, a 64-year Carson City and recent Sparks resident, will be said 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 2900 N. McCarran Blvd., Sparks, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Lone Mountain Cemetery following the service.

Mrs. Supera died March 29, 2007. She was born June 3, 1919, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Joseph and Hazel Moore.

She was a member of the Carson City chapter of FOE Ladies Auxiliary Aerie No. 1006, the St. Teresa Catholic Altar Society, the St. Teresa Catholic Choir and the Portuguese American Club. She volunteered her time to many causes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Pete Supera; sister Grace Figueredo of Yucaipa, Calif.; and great-grandson Marty Valdez of Redlands, Calif.

Among her survivors are daughters and sons-in-law Mickey and Terry Imus of Sparks and Carol and Johnny Moore of Redlands; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund.

Walton Funeral Home in Sparks is in charge of arrangements.
