A memorial service for Marian E. Shearer, 86, an 18-year Carson City resident, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Bishop, Calif.
Mrs. Shearer died March 27, 2007, in Carson City. She was born June 15, 1920, in Bishop, to Joseph B. and Mary Warner.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Shearer lived in Bishop.
She was a waitress, a checker and an office clerk.
She was preceded in death by brothers Charlie and Chester.
Among her survivors are her husband, Donald Shearer; sons and daughters-in-law Wayne and Darlene Maples and Jack and Charlotte Maples; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brune Buck Mortuary in Bishop is in charge of arrangements.
