The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Steven James Payton, 24, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested Wednesday at 4:32 p.m. in the 1400 block of Como Street on suspicion of felony failure to appear and misdemeanor traffic warrant. Bail was set at $5,832.


• John Fisher, 51, a disabled Gardnerville man, was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Kimmerling Road on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and injury to a motor vehicle. He allegedly tried to run over his son and a woman in Carson City after the two were late to meet with him. Bail was set at $20,347.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Battery report on East Fifth Street at 12:45 a.m.


• A 1997 green Ford Taurus that was stolen sometime Tuesday from the 3400 block of Highway 50 East was located at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday in a casino parking lot.


• Vehicle burglary report in the 2200 block of Marilyns Way at 8:54 a.m.


• A report of a rented furniture trailer being a month overdue at 1 p.m. on North Deer Run Road.


• Coroner call at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center at 6:09 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East at 9:56 p.m.


• Fraud reports on North Carson Street and Marilyns Way.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Misdemeanor arrest on Valley Drive in Yerington at 8:01 a.m.


• Coroner call on Citrus Street in Silver Springs at 1:54 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary report on Prairie Lane in Fernley at 4:20 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Arrest on Parr Boulevard on a Storey County warrant at 3:55 p.m.


• Traffic citation issued on Six Mile Canyon Road at 4:31 p.m.
