Signus for the Carson City American Youth Soccer Organization fall season will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at the Carson High north entrance.
Signups will also be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at the CHS north entrance. Those signing up can speed up the process by preregistering at www.AYSOcarsoncity.org. Registration must be completed in person.
Cost is $50 for per player and $45 for each sibling thereafter.
Hillygus, Ridgley in third
Dayton's Debbie Hillygus and Sparks' James Ridgley put themselves in third place on Thursday in Classified Doubles at the United Staes Bowling Congress Open Championship.
Both bowlers appeared at the USBC Open Championships for the second time and each turned in a career-high series on the way to third place in Classified Doubles with 1,194.
Ridgley shot 638 and led the way, while Hillygus added 556. Larry Harvanko of
Champlin, Minn., and Brett Pfeifer of Minneapolis lead with 1,232.
